Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of HuiYangGuYuan Prescription on apoptosis of human papilloma virus infected cells. Methods Keratinocytes extracted from skin lesions of condyloma acuminatum patients was co-incubated with different concentrations of HuiYangGuYuan Prescription in Transwell pool system. Cell suspension was measured by flow cytometry. Cell cycle and apoptosis status was obtained. Results When concentrations of HuiYangGuYuan Prescription was remained on 20?μg/ml, the number of G1 and S cells cell was decreased while G2 cells and apoptosis rate were increased along with increase of incubation time. When cells was co-incubated with HuiYangGuYuan Prescription for 48 hours, the number of G1 cell and S cells was significantly decreased while the apoptosis rate was increased in dose dependent manner (P?0.05). Conclusion HuiYangGuYuan Prescription may induce human papilloma virus infected cells.
