Abstract:Objective To observe the changes in immune indexes, serum ferritin and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) levels in patients with recurrent oral ulcer, and to analyze their clinical values. Methods The patients with recurrent oral ulcers in Huainan First People's Hospital from October 2016 to October 2017 were selected as the research subjects, and the healthy adults who received health examination in our hospital at the same time were selected as the control. The differences among immune indexes, hs-CRP, serum ferritin and TNF-α were observed between the two groups, and the correlations between serum ferritin and the levels of immunologic indexes and TNF-α in patients with recurrent oral ulcer were analyzed. Results The immunoglobulin A (IgA), immunoglobulin G (IgG) and immunoglobulin M (IgM) of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P?0.05); and the serum iron and ferritin in the observation group were lower than the control group (P?0.05); and the level of TNF-α and hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P?0.05), and the level of interleukin-2 (IL-2) was lower than that of the control group (P?0.05); serum iron and ferritin levels in patients with recurrent oral ulcer were positively correlated with IgA, IgG, IgM and IL-2 levels (P?0.05), and negatively correlated with the levels of TNF-α and hs-CRP (P?0.05). Conclusion Immune indexes and serum ferritin levels in patients with recurrent oral ulcers are low, and the level of TNF-α is high, and there are correlations among them.
