Abstract:Objective To study the changes of CD19+CD24hiCD38hi Breg and CD19+CD24hiCD27+ Breg cells in peripheral blood of patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS). Methods Flow cytometry was used to detect the expression of CD19+CD24hiCD38hi Breg and CD19+CD24hiCD27+ Breg in peripheral blood of 50 patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome and 50 healthy controls. Results The phenotype ratio of CD19+CD24hiCD38hi Breg cells in GBS group was lower than that in control group (P < 0.05), and that of CD19+CD24hiCD27+ Breg cells in GBS group was lower than that in control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Decreased CD19+CD24hiCD38hi Breg and CD19+CD24hiCD27+ Breg cells in peripheral blood of patients with GBS may be involved in the pathogenesis of GBS,which may be an observation index of curative effect.
