Abstract:The new coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) has spread from Wuhan in December 2020 and outbroken across the country and even abroad. Maternal is a susceptible population with special immune tolerance. The pregnant women’s inflammatory emergency response to viral respiratory infections increases significantly. Once the infection progresses rapidly, it can easily progress to severe illness, which endangers the life of the mother and fetus. For COVID-19 non-scheduled treatment units, it is necessary to do a good job of protecting pregnant women and newborns during the epidemic of new-type coronavirus pneumonia. This article discusses how to adjust the prenatal inspection time, medical staff precautions, precautions for outpatient consultation, and hospitalization patients and escort management, obstetric emergency treatment of suspected or confirmed patients, etc. to put forward countermeasures for clinicians’ reference to ensure the safety of mothers and infants during epidemic prevention and control.
