Abstract:The high incidence of anxiety and depression in female breast cancer patients may be related to the specificity of the tumor location, which will aggravate the side effects of chemotherapy on patients and affect the immune system and the initiative to receive treatment of the patients, thus impacting on the survival rate of patients. Correct understanding of psychological problems such as anxiety and depression in breast cancer patients and intervention when necessary have been regarded as an important part of comprehensive treatment of breast cancer. This article summarizes and analyzes research advances on this issue, aiming to help the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety and depression in patients with breast cancer, and to better improve the overall quality of life.
