Abstract:Cutaneous adverse reaction is one of the familiar adverse reactions of aromatic antiepileptic drugs and threat to the lives of patients and drug safety. The author consulted the related literature at home and abroad to present a review on the classification, clinical features and the possible pathogenesis of the cutaneous adverse reactions induced by aromatic antiepileptic drugs in recent years. In general, the possible pathogenesis of skin reactions induced by aromatic antiepileptic drugs has been mainly focused on the relationship of cell signaling with immune molecules and HLA-B*1502 gene, but the process is still not very clear. Attention should be paid to the clinical application of the drugs while further researches are adopted.
