摘要：  牙周炎（PD）和心血管疾病（CVD）是现阶段在人群中广泛流行的慢性炎症性疾病，有着共同的危险因素。PD与CVD存在一定相关性。本文就PD与CVD的流行病学研究、临床干预研究、动物模型研究、病理过程及相关机制方面做一综述。

Abstract: Periodontitis and atherosclerosis are highly prevalent at present. They have common risk factors. Many studies have shown that periodontitis is associated with cardiovascular diseases. This article reviews the epidemiology, clinical intervention study, animal model research, pathological process and mechanism of periodontitis and cardiovascular diseases.
