Abstract:Objective:To explore the practicability of laparoscope for hemorrhagic ectopic pregnancy. Methods:One hundred and seventy cases of hemorrhagic ectopic pregnancy from August 1997 to August 2001 werc collected. They were randomly devided into two groups, 120 cases for the group of laparoscope and 50 cases for the laparotomy group. Data of operation time, condition of postoperative recovery, tubal patent and complications in both groups were statistically compared. Results: It showed that cases with laparoscope would recover sooner and had advantages of shorter hospitalization, higher rate of patent and less complications . The history of laparoscope operated in our hospital also showed that in the early stage, from August 1997 to July 1999, the operation time in the laparoscope was longer than that in the laparotomy group. It became shorter later, from July 1999 to August 2001.Conclusions:Laparoscope can be applied in cases of hemorrhagic ectopic pregnancy as well as in emergency without added complications. It will satisfy the younger with the demand of pregnancy.
