Abstract:Objective To explore related factors of Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection in physical examination adult population, and to provide a reference basis to prevent HP infection for adults. Methods From January 2013 to January 2015, 800 adults for health examination in our hospital were selected. The 13 C breath test was used to test the HP infection, and the factors associated with HP infection were analyzed. Results Single factor analysis results showed that the gender, age, marriage status, family member, treatment history of stomach disease, drinking, smoking, peel raw fruits and vegetables and kind of drinking water have close correlation with HP infection (P < 0.05). According to the result of multi-factor Logistic analysis, middle-aged, male, multiple family members, treatment history of stomach disease, drinking, smoking, not peel raw fruits and vegetables were risk factors of HP infection (P < 0.05). Conclusions Middle-aged, male, multiple family members, a treatment history of stomach disease, drinking, smoking, not peel raw fruits and vegetables are risk factors of HP infection. We should pay more attention on those adults to prevent them from HP infection.
